About This Site
PakSalaryTax is a free set of tools that helps salaried people in Pakistan understand how much income tax is deducted from their pay. Tax rules change with every federal budget, and the explanations online are often confusing or out of date. This site aims to give a clear, simple answer in a few seconds.
Who runs it
The site is run by Muhammad Ibrar Khan, a BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting graduate (Oxford Brookes University) and ACCA student based in Pakistan, with a background in internal audit and financial reporting.
Where the numbers come from
Rates and slabs follow the Finance Act 2026 and the salaried-individual rates for Tax Year 2027 notified by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). All calculations run in your browser using one rate table, which is updated after each budget. The date of the last check appears in the footer of every page.
What this site is not
It is not an official government website and does not provide personal tax advice. For your own filing, deductions, rebates or complicated income, please use the FBR IRIS portal or speak to a registered tax professional. Read the full disclaimer.
